DJ Ballingham graduated as a Physician Assistant from Pacific University in 2002, after having practiced as a Registered Nurse for 7 years. Following PA School, he entered the West Virginia University/Alderson-Broaddus College Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He practiced Emergency Medicine in Marysville, OH for 3 years then moved to Garden City, UT to practice in a solo Rural Family Medicine Practice with the Bear Lake Community Health Center. He practiced in Garden City, UT for nearly 10 years, then transferred to the Health Center’s North Logan location, where he continues to practice. While working for Bear Lake Community Health Center, he served as the Medical Director, Clinical Director, and participated administratively in the growth of the practice from 1 small single practitioner practice to an organization that supports 7 separate clinics.
DJ is the father of 8 children, an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and golfer. He loves spending time with his children, supporting and coaching their sports teams and attending their cheer and dance competitions. He loves serving the underserved through the Community Health Center system, as well as practicing Urgent/Emergent Care medicine.
